June 5, 2006Giving Back - Autism WalkThe Crusader Football Team spent Sunday morning volunteering at the 2006 Westchester-Fairfield Walk for Autism Research to help raise funds for research and awareness of autism. Nineteen players volunteered their Sunday morning at Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY, to help set up for the walk and to assist with crowd control. The walk was the Crusaders' spring community service event. They will also plan an August event. Any suggestions for causes or projects are welcome.
