March 14, 2006Trinity Recruits Attend FordhamOn March 1, six football players from Trinity Catholic High School were invited to attend junior recruiting night at Fordham University. Eric Stephens, Santagio Steele, Chris Hawthorn, AJ Nelson, Vin Cortese, and Mario Pirolozzi visited the alma mater of Vince Lombardi to meet with Fordham's athletic director and head coach. They also attended the Fordham vs. LaSalle Atlantic 10 basketball game. The trip was the first look for most of them into the college recruiting process. Coach Fox later remarked, "I wish they were allowed to invite more players. It was a great experience. I know we have a lot of players who are looking to play college football next season, and we are at the start of making that a reality for them."
