August 31, 2005Scrimmage #2In their second pre-season scrimmage, a knicked-up Trinity Catholic took on Greenwich HS and Poly Prep. Physically they matched up well with both teams despite missing five starters due to injury and precautionary measures. The offense moved the ball consistently against Poly Prep but could not seem to get going against a solid Greenwich defense. Defensively the Crusaders played tough and hard-nosed, but showed they are not game-ready yet. Next scrimmage is Saturday at 11am vs. St. Luke's at Trinity.
