First Alumni Football Game a Success

Over 70 alumni turned out to play in the first annual Alumni Game. A little older, a little wiser, and a little heavier, the "old boys" put forth a valient effort to find maybe a sparkle of former glory.

Foti's Team (comprised mostly of the class of 2003 graduates - the last team to have 8 wins) took the championship from Putnam (copmprised mostly of players from the last state championship team, the class of 1994).

Here is the result from each of the games. Hope everybody had a great time. Please feel free to send any suggestions on how to improve next years event to the address below.

Round 1
Big Blue 12 - Putnam's Powerhouse 7
Foti's 14 - Loop's 49ers 0
Demo's Demolition 16 - Mauler's Monsters 0

Round 2
Demo's Demolition 6 - Putnam's 6 (Putnam's wins on coin toss)
Foti's 6 - Big Blue 0

Championship Game
Foti's 13 - Putnam's 12
(Scott Salvatore to Jimmy O'Leary for the two-point conversion with no time left!)

Thanks to Red O'Leary and Mike Macari for announcing the spring game and to Red for also doing the alumni game.
