May 23, 2005Trinity Football Cleans Up at Awards NightAt the high school's award ceremony last week, the Crusader football team was represented by three award winners. Vinny Cortez (Junior All-FCIAC guard and starting middle linebacker) was awarded The Mickey Lione Foundation Scholarship presented to a sophomore. Dave Macari (Senior Captain wide receiver and defensive back) was awarded the Mickey Lione Scholarship presented to a junior. Andrew Shannon (Senior Captain tight end and defensive end) was awarded the John Smyth Scholarship. Congratulations to all of the students who received awards.
