May 18, 2005Three Crusader Football Players named finalists for Lione ScholarshipVinny Cortez, Anes Kummal, and Niel Gallagher were all named finalists for the prestigious Mickey Lione College Scholarship Award. The Mickey Lione Award Represents excellence on the field and off. It is a very prestigious, award named for the long time coach of Trinity Sports. Coach Lione taught life through sports and the scholarship is meant to represent the qualities that he stood for during his life: character, honesty, strength of will, and excellence in all aspects of life. We are very proud to have three players worthy of receiving such an award. We wish them all good luck.
